Kathleen Boehm became the Executive Director in 2024. Prior to that, in 2021 she began serving on Mothers Trust Foundation Service Committee and as a general volunteer. Kathleen is a lifelong resident of the Chicago area. She holds a Masters in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois, with a specialization in land use and a concentration in housing. She has worked as a real estate appraiser, a consultant, an urban planner, a business manager and started her own business. Her life-long interest has been to improve the lives in the community where she lives. She was appointed to the Wilmette Zoning Board, the District 39 Curriculum Review Committee, and the District 39 Educational Foundation. She has volunteered in many different capacities at Misericordia, and limited volunteer roles with the Lake County health department and the League of Women Voters.
